CE Reporting

Q: How can I find out the continuing education requirements for my state board?
A: Every state has different requirements; therefore you will need to check with your state board to verify what you need. However, RxSchool is an ACPE accredited provider of pharmacy education and meets the requirements of all state boards of pharmacy.
|
|
Q: How can I obtain my CPE Monitor ID number (NABP e-Profile ID)?
A: You can obtain your unique CPE Monitor ID (NABP e-Profile ID) from https://store.nabp.net/OA_HTML/xxnabpibeGblLogin.jsp.
Once you have obtained your CPE Monitor ID, please update your RxSchool user profile with your ID number and birth month and day. Please note that in order for RxSchool to submit CPE records on your behalf, these fields must be updated.
|
|
Q: How will the state board know if a course is Live?
A: • The board verifies credit hours by the ACPE UPN number listed on the certificate of completion.
• For example, the Live CPE “XXXX” has an ACPE UPN number of 0372-0000-09-L02-P; the “L” towards the end of the number signifies that this is a Live CPE program.
• If you were to take a Distance course (also known as Home Study), the ACPE UPN number would have an “H” in place of the “L” signifying Home Study to the state board.
|
|
Q: I have a Florida (FL) license. Do you report my courses to CE Broker?
A: This applies to pharmacists or technicians who are certificated in the state of Florida. The first step would be to check in your RxSchool account, under the “My Profile” section to verify that your Florida license number is listed here. RxSchool reports to CE Broker every Friday, but if a user’s license number is NOT listed within this section of their account, their courses will NOT be reported.
• If you do NOT have your license listed within your account, please add this information. Please ensure to include all letters and numbers with NO dashes or spaces.
• After you add your license information into your RxSchool account, we can manually report to CE Broker at any time.
|
|
Q: If I take (or took) a pharmacist-only accredited course as a technician, will my state board accept it?
A: Every state is different. For example, Alabama will NOT accept pharmacist-only accredited courses for technicians, but South Carolina will. Please check with your state board to verify. If the board does not accept the course, we may issue you a refund or transfer you into a technician accredited course.

Q: I can’t view the course materials.
A: If you are having trouble pulling up the course materials it may be due to your pop-up blocker. Try holding down the Shift key on your keyboard while clicking on the “Click here” button. Doing this will override most pop-up blockers. (Keep in mind, larger courses need more time to load.) Also, you may try using a different browser as sometimes certain browsers do not allow pop-ups as well.

Q: How do I complete my Evaluation to receive credit?
A: At the end of each event you will receive a live event code that will give you access to complete the evaluation. To receive credit for this program, all you need to do is log into your account, select “My Live CEs”, click on the name of this course, and enter the Live Event code. You will then choose pharmacist or technician and proceed to the evaluation. Once you submit the evaluation, you may print your certificate. You do not have to print this right away. As a reminder, your certificate will say “Unofficial” on it as per ACPE. You can obtain your official transcripts for CPE Monitor and CE Broker. You must complete the evaluation within 60 days from today to obtain CE credit as per CPE Monitor. As of May 1st, 2014 CPE Monitor will no longer be accepting paper certificates from CE providers, but certificates can be obtained from CPE Monitor directly. RxSchool electronically reports your completed courses on a nightly basis as soon as your evaluation is submitted in your account, but please ensure your 6 digit NABP ID number and birth date is listed in the profile section of your RxSchool account.
