Alan P. Agins, PhD, Pharmacologist President - PRN Associates, Ltd. Continuing Medical Education Tucson, AZ Alan P. Agins received a Masters in Pharmacology & Toxicology and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Rhode Island. He has held faculty appointments at Brown University Medical School, Northeastern University School of Pharmacy and University of Virginia School of Nursing. During his tenure at Brown, Dr Agins was the recipient of the Dean's Teaching Excellence Award for five consecutive years. Over the past eighteen years, Dr. Agins has lectured nationally on all topics of pharmacology to more than 65,000 advanced practice clinicians and allied healthcare professionals. He has authored three books, co-authored textbook chapters and has served as primary reviewer for various journals, CE monographs, textbooks and newsletters. Currently, in addition to his national lectures, Dr Agins writes a monthly e-newsletter for Lexi-Comp and is developing a series of unique online continuing education videos that promise to be entertaining as well as informative. Alan has been with RxSchool for nearly 5 years now and has presented approximately 175 live webinars in that time. |

Ken Baker, B.S. Pharm, JD
Ken Baker, B.S., Pharm, J.D. is a pharmacist and an attorney and RxSchool expert in pharmacy law topics. He consults nationally in the areas of medication errors and he practices law, of counsel, with the Phoenix Arizona law firm Renaud Cook Drury Mesaros, PA. Previously Ken was General Counsel and Sr. Vice President at Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Company and before that he practiced general trial law, including three years as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Indiana. He practiced pharmacy for several years before returning to law school. |

Stephen Freed, RPh, Diabetes Educator Publisher of DiabetesinControl.com Newsletter Stephen Freed has been a registered pharmacist for more than 29 years and a Diabetes Educator for more than 15 years. He became a certified diabetes educator 1995 and since then has been dedicated in advancing diabetes care to physicians, pharmacists and nurses. He is the founder and publisher of www.diabetesincontrol.com, a diabetes newsletter that is distributed to more than 125,000 medical professionals. He designed and developed the Know Your Healthy Steps physical activity program for Bayer Diabetes Care which has been shared with more than 500,000 patients and translated into four languages. Stephen was the 2009 president of the Chicago Chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators. He currently works as Publisher of Diabetesincontrol.com, serves as an insulin pump trainer for Medtronic, manages patients in doctors' offices, and is a speaker for Eli Lilly. |

Darrell Hulisz, RPh, PharmD Associate Professor of Family Medicine School of Medicine - Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, Ohio Dr. Hulisz currently practices as a clinical pharmacist with University Hospitals of Cleveland, Family Medicine Residency Program, where he works in consultation with family physicians, both on inpatient and outpatient services. He was recently awarded a federal, multi-agency faculty development fellowship to further his expertise in the field of substance abuse. He is also an investigator for a multidisciplinary chronic pain study funded by the Macy Foundation. His areas of interest and pharmacy expertise include the pharmacological management of hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia. Other areas of expertise include substance abuse, insomnia, patient education, and formulary management. |

Christopher S. Conner, PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist Director Emeritus, Rocky Mountain Drug Consultation Center Denver Health and Hospitals Lakewood, CO Christopher S. Conner, Pharm.D., received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California. He has held faculty appointments at the University of Colorado Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine, and Idaho State University School of Pharmacy. During his academic/clinical career, Dr. Conner developed and directed two statewide drug information centers and one statewide poison control center, and served as a clinical pharmacist at Denver General Hospital and other hospitals. He was clinical toxicology consultant at the Rocky Mountain Poison Center for eight years. Dr. Conner has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, one textbook and has authored/edited several monthly columns in pharmacy and medical journals. He was co-founder, developer and chief editor of the Drugdex information system and co-founder of the Diseasedex information system, each of which are in hospitals throughout the US. He was recipient of the Professional Achievement Award from American Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Currently, Dr. Conner is a clinical consultant and medical editor/writer for several publishing companies and organizations, including provision of continuing medical education and continuing pharmacy/nursing education activities. |

Gina D. Dr. Moore received her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific and her Master's in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. After working for many years in drug information and pharmacy informatics, Dr. Moore joined the faculty at the University of Colorado in 2008. She is responsible for numerous projects and entrepreneurial partnerships with the university, and lectures in the areas of business management, informatics, and law. |

Katie Graham Lyons, Pharm.D, M.S. Dr. Lyons is a residency and fellowship trained pharmacist with a basic science Masters. With more than 15 years in the industry, she has worked in multiple pharmacy environments, including compounding, retail, clinical, academic, and as a consultant. Dr. Lyons' corporate headquarters experience in Medical Affairs included acting as the medical reviewer in the legal regulatory review process and lead for medical communication in the strategic collaborations with commercial initiatives. In Regulatory Affairs, she was a promotional reviewer for the legal regulatory review process and training manager. Dr. Lyons also established relationships with local schools of pharmacy to lecture and provide externship experiences to students; she currently provides lectures at multiple schools. Stephanie H. Langston Master's in Foreign Language Education, The University of Georgia Bachelor's in Spanish, The University of Georgia Bachelor's in Telecommunication Arts, The University of Georgia Instructor of Spanish, Georgia Perimeter College President and Curriculum Director of Hands on Spanish, Inc. Stephanie Langston is a Spanish teaching professional and entrepreneur. She is the President, Curriculum Director and Lead Instructor of Hands on Spanish, Inc. and is a College Spanish Instructor. Her company's programs include "Pharmacy Spanish" (approved for 12 hours of ACPE credit), www.rxschool.com "Spanish for Nurses" (approved for 20 hours of ANCC credit), www.advanceyourprofession.com. She also led the development of 200 hours of Spanish curriculum customized for the Immigration and Customs Enforcements Agents of the Department of Homeland Security. New agents must take and pass the Spanish course in order to proceed with their training. She has developed curriculum for the Institute for Continuing Judicial Education, the Georgia Center at the University of Georgia, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia, the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and the Florida College of Advanced Judicial studies, among other organizations. She worked as a pharmacy technician while in college. She lives in Monroe, GA with her husband, Chris, her son Emery and her daughter Maya (both adopted from Colombia). |

Trina von Waldner, B.S., Pharm.D., R.Ph. Trina von Waldner graduated from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy with her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1986, and began practicing hospital pharmacy in Savannah. She served as a rural hospital pharmacy director for fifteen years. In 1999 she entered the Nontraditional Doctor of Pharmacy Pathway Program at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, graduating in 2001 then accepted a position with Public Health and served for six years as the Director of Pharmacy and Emergency Preparedness. In her Public health position, she developed the regional Strategic National Stockpile plan and oversaw pandemic influenza planning for 16 counties. Dr. von Waldner joined the College of Pharmacy faculty in July of 2007 as the Director of Postgraduate Continuing Education and Outreach. She teaches Ethics and Professionalism in Introduction to Pharmacy and Public Health and the Health Professions to undergraduate students. Dr. von Waldner teaches Basic Disaster Life Support and Advanced Disaster Life Support for the Georgia Health Sciences University Center for Operational Medicine. She presented posters at the National Outreach Scholarship Conference, Pubic Health Preparedness Summit and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Annual Meeting this past year. She is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Georgia Mountain Medical Reserve Corps and the Georgia 3 Disaster medical Assistance Team. |
