Do you face ethical or legal dilemmas in your practice? Join RxSchool for this 2 hour LAW course that investigates where our ethical standards come from and personal and professional ethic al issues. This course reviews the pharmacist code of ethics and legal implications of ethical decision making.

At the conclusion of this continuing education lesson, the pharmacist will be able to:
- Discuss the difference between ethics and morality.
- Explain the need for an ethical algorism when making an ethical decision.
- Explore the relationship between ethics and law.
- Identify ethical issues in healthcare.
- Discuss the role of the pharmacists’ code of ethics and legal responsibility in making ethical and legal decisions.
This course is approved by ACPE for 2 PHARMACY LAW credits hours.

Ken is a pharmacist and a lawyer who consults in areas in which he has worked for over thirty years. He has written insurance policies and has designed quality assurance plans to reduce medication errors. Ken has taught pharmacy law and business law and has written and lectured nationally in the areas of risk management, pharmacy law and ethics. |
