Course Overview
Learn about healthcare reform and its impact on pharmacists! As all healthcare professionals begin to navigate the details of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), this course will demonstrate how it will impact pharmacy practice in the future.
 
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this continuing education lesson, the pharmacist will be able to:

  • Describe key concepts within the new healthcare reform act.
  • Describe the impact of the healthcare reform act on the working pharmacist.
  • Define how the healthcare reform act will change the role of the pharmacist.
  • Outline the future of pharmacy practice.


This course is approved by ACPE for 1 hour of PHARMACY LAW credit.
