Monitoring to Target: The Impact of Blood Glucose Monitoring in the Management of Diabetes Mellitus
After completing this program, participants will be able to:
- Discuss with patients the need for and benefits of tight glycemic control
- Describe the appropriate use of self-monitoring of blood glucose
- Describe the appropriate use of glucose monitors to ensure glycemic control
Target audience: Retail chain pharmacists advising patients with diabetes.
