Description
Methamphetamine is being produced in communities across the nation. Small illegal labs use ingredients found in many over-the-counter medicines along with other common household products (legitimate, safe and effective products bought or stolen) to produce this highly addictive drug.
It’s an expensive and deadly problem. Not just for those who make or use it, but for all of us. In this course, you'll learn how retailers can play a vital role in helping local law enforcement stop meth production.

At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- List the common ingredients needed to make diffeent forms of meth
- Identify suspicious retail purchases
- Describe the dangers of meth production and use
- Identify key components of the Combat Methamphetamine Epidemic Act of 2005
- List specific actions that can be taken in retail stores to prevent meth production and use
