Farid Wassef is a pharmacist and clinical nutritionist. Throughout his career he has lectured to the public and health-care professionals on integrative approaches to health and wellness. He has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, served on various editorial boards, and for a 5-year period was a member of the advisory council at the Institute for Functional Medicine in Gig Harbor,WA. Currently, he is engaged in a number of professional endeavours to ensure pharmacists are recognized as Primary Healthcare Practitioners providing reimbursable services.
